Here's a little peek into what happens before a sea elf meets his human.

All the colorful little sea elves live and swim in the great Loch Ness, and when a human is ready to meet his/her sea elf, he gets a letter, and they all gather round:

And then they party! They send the sea elf off on a fancy boat after lots of celebration:

And then the sea elf is on his way to his human's doorstep. They all root for each other to leave Loch Ness and enter the world of humans. (That's where they become fully actualized and can do their best, most important work!)

Um, hello! You need to do a Sea Elf children's book that comes with a sea elf! I think it'd be delightful.

Oh my goodness! LOVE these illustrations. The party hats in the Bon Voyage party scene are just beyond perfect. I wish my Sea Elf had a real party hat! :-)
