I've been working on some new prints the last couple of days, and I've discovered my new favorite color combination!

Aren't these colors just divine together? I love it.
What are your favorite colors together?
I'm always trying to think of new things that I can make with my patterns. I love seeing them on products!
So here's the latest, coming soon.... glasses cases!

I pulled out my sewing machine last week and got to work, and voila! My newest product. They're not quite done yet.... I have plans to embellish them with some messages (like my rain boots!), but I need to do some experimenting first.

But I thought you would like a peek! They open and close with this cool spring closure, which I'm kind-of obsessed with:

Which one is your favorite?
I'll have these babies at ICE this weekend (aka: Indie Craft Experience, the most fun holiday show in Atlanta ever)-- come see me and check them out in person if you're in town!
Which of these do you like better? I'm having trouble deciding!

Ummm, when did it get to be the end of October?! I can't believe it's almost holiday time again-- 2011 has flown by!
Which means: it's calendar season. Choosing a calendar every year used to be one of my very favorite parts of starting a new year. It felt like such a big commitment-- this calendar would live on my wall for the entire year! Would I get sick of it? Would I start to think it was ugly?
Some years, when I was a kid, I used to make my own hand-drawn calendar-- I would draw out each grid, number it all, draw all my patterns for each month by hand.... I loved it. It took FOREVER.
And I do the same thing now, really, I just do it on a computer. And I do have to say, I think I've created my loveliest calendar yet this year.
I have a small version and a large version available -- the patterns are the same in each, but the paper is different. The small one is printed on bright white 100% recycled cover stock, and the large one is printed on gorgeous white speckletone French Paper. I can't decide which I like better!
Anyway, if you're in the market for a calendar, do check them out-- they're jam-packed with color, of course, so it'll make you happy when you look at it throughout the year. :) Color affects your mood, you know!
It's almost here! I'm headed to Houston for Quilt Market on Friday (for the first time ever) to celebrate the launch of my new fabric company, Blend Fabrics, and I can't wait to see my newest fabric line in person! It's called Preeti and will be available in 3 colorways. It'll ship to stores in January 2012!

I'm not generally a beige lover, but I love how this colorway turned out-- it's so soft, and it could be mixed so easily with all the other fabrics in the collection. One collection is pink-based and the other is blue, so they mix quite nicely.
Anyway, these are just a couple of photos.... I'll have more next week for sure, plus inspiration from Quilt Market. I can't wait to see the Amy Butler booth! I hear it's always incredible.
I'm jumping on the matryoshka band wagon! It was kind-of inevitable. I'm just surprised I didn't work on a matryoshka print sooner!
I was in the mood for pattern-making last night, and this is what resulted. What do you think?
There will be more that go with it soon! Once I get in pattern-mkaing mode, it's hard for me to stop.... I love it so much.
They've got 16 cases up on the site with my prints on them, and they're available for all types of phones: iPhone 4, iPhone 3, Samsung, Blackberry...
I partnered up with Case-Mate about a month ago, and it's been a whirlwind of activity so far, with many visits to their super-fun office, a video shoot, and lots of sample cases being made (did you see my sneak peek photo on Instagram last week?) It's been a dream partnership so far!
Here are the cases that are available:
I'll have them for sale on my own website soon, too, but for now you can head over to Case-Mate.com and get your favorite one!
Make sure you like the cases on facebook there, too, and tweet about it if you're into that sort of thing.
Hooray for making phones prettier!
Here's the video they made, too:
