alternate universes

Sometimes I wonder about alternate universes. Something that Deepak Chopra wrote on twitter the other day struck me. He said: "Electrons are not objects, energy, or information. They are probability clouds around a center of probability states that create the universe."
Electrons are probability clouds. Around a center of probability states. This is what creates the universe.
Which I interpret like this: endless possibility. Out perception is so limited by what we can see with our eyes that it's sort-of impossible to imagine anything beyond that. But the truth is, we ARE the universe that these probability clouds create. Each and every one of us is a piece of this thing called the universe, which sort-of means we are those probability clouds, doesn't it?
So, does that mean every possibility is playing out somehow, somewhere in the universe? If everything is possible, then isn't it all here somewhere, even if we can't see it with our eyes?
I'd like to pop into an alternate universe to see what that's like. I think we can do that by changing our thoughts. New thoughts = new reality. It's as simple as that. I think our alternate universes are contained within us and are standing right in front of us. The thing is, you can't see them with your eyes. You have to find them within yourself first. As Danielle LaPorte says, "you contain multitudes."
Multitudes indeed.

Inspired by this week's LOST? :)
Oh my gosh, Becky, that didn't even occur to me! I must've been subconsciously inspired! Ha ha. Crazy.
I love the way you've interpreted Deepak's words. Mmm, Endless Possibility! I love the way that phrase makes me feel.
Wow! I happened across your blog today, and I was JUST writing about my idea of the afterlife. I was writing that I think we return to stardust after we pass on, that we return to pure possibility (which could be considered HEAVEN to some of us!). Anyway, thanks for your wonderful blogs, they are amazing!
