cards cards cards (of the birthday variety)

One thing I rarely do is buy cards. My whole life long I've given handmade cards for birthdays, holidays, thank yous, and whatever else requires a card. So needless to say, I've been having a ball these past few weeks designing some fun new cards to take with me to Surtex. I'm envisioning one whole wall of my booth at the show being covered in a grid of colorful cards-- wouldn't that be wonderful?

These are a few of the birthday cards i've come up with recently-- I'm particularly in love with this elephant one:

I also have a question. Where is your favorite place to buy cards? I'm in research mode, seeing what all kinds of cards are out there, and I'd love to know where you shop for fun and unique cards. As a novice card-shopper, I'd love some tips from you smart cookies!

These are SO cute. I LOVE the elephant, too! The best cards I get from Etsy, though I save those for special occasions since (with shipping) they end up being a little more than I'd normally pay.
I love the blimps! And the elephant is darling.
I, too, tend to make my own cards. I like sewing on paper, and that usually gives me a good excuse to do so... however, my second choice is to buy them from someone else who has handmade them, so hopefully there will be lots of people like me at your show! Good luck!
i looooooove these, jess, & share your elephant fav! the colors are delicious!
like a yummy popsicle on a summer day.
i too am thinking of putting cards together/unsure if i'll go through a company or print at home...
i now send you a virtual card with march marching in love your way.
This is long after your post, and you may already be familiar with Rifle / Anna Bond, but these are my favorite cards -- I'm saving up to get one of the personalized types of stationary -- http://www.riflepaperco.com/category/Stationery/c1
