I'm interested in color. And the way images speak and capture truths and feelings that words simply can't. I believe we are visual creatures, and we crave worlds filled with sights and images that make us feel joyful. I believe we are meant to do what we love, to feel joy. I'm blessed to be a full-time artist and graphic/surface pattern designer; I'm truly living a life that I love.
I'm interested in connecting our eyes to our hearts, and I believe that's done through images.

- I live in Atlanta, Georgia, though I grew up in Boulder, Colorado and went to college in upstate New York.
- I have a BFA in painting and a minor in French. One day I will use that minor when I own a houseboat in Amsterdam and visit Paris regularly.
- For my very first job at age 15 I was a piano duster. Yep, my only duty was to dust the pianos. I remember loving it, but I think I might've just had a crush on a boy who worked there (not as a piano duster.)
- I am left-handed.
- I didn't see the ocean for the first time until I was 17 years old. (So sad!)
- I have a weirdly morbid imagination which doesn't come through at ALL in my artwork. Aren't you curious what I think about now?
- I dream every night. In vivid color.
- I'm quite unfashionable, and I never go shopping. (I secretly wish I dressed like the people in my illustrations.)
