PATTERNS BY MY TALENTED PATTERN CAMPERS

It’s been a while since I’ve shared any patterns that my Pattern Camp students have created. They’ve been making some pretty spectacular patterns lately, so I thought you might like to see some of them (they’re too good not to share with the world)!

I started a Pattern Camp Weekly Challenge at the beginning of February, for all the Pattern Campers (current and past students), and they’re having so much fun with it. Each week I post a new theme. This week it’s PORTRAITS! The first 5 weeks’ themes were: Camping (of course), Cacti + Succulents, Cities, Rainbow, and Kitchen. I’ve been rounding up all the designs into separate blog posts each week, and you can see all of them on the Pattern Camp blog.

What continues to amaze me is that some of these people have never used Illustrator or Photoshop before. And I mean never, And now, they’re pattern pros! It’s pretty amazing, I think, what you can learn when you combine dedication, hard work, patience, and gentleness with yourself. The Pattern Campers are proof!

Here are just a handful of the awesome patterns. I hope you’ll take peek at the rest on the blog!
