WHAT: Pattern Camp is a 2-day, weekend-long pattern design workshop e-course, created and taught by me, Jessica Swift. Participants will leave the workshop with the confidence and skills to create their own beautiful repeat patterns using both Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. It’s pattern design boot camp! (Except fun, and no one will yell at you, promise.)
WHEN: The next session will be Saturday and Sunday JANUARY 27-28, 2018 (this will be the final session of Pattern Camp in this format)
WHERE: in a private classroom area of the Pattern Camp website
PRICE: $159 USD
If you dream of learning how to make repeat patterns but are unsure of where and how to begin, this course is for you. Throughout the 2-day online workshop you will learn to design repeat patterns in both Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and we will start from the beginning. No prior knowledge of how to use either program is necessary — beginners are absolutely welcome!
Videos, tutorials, and live Q+A’s will guide you through the tools, techniques, and tricks to get you quickly on your way to proficiency in the programs + creating your own beautiful patterns. Patterns are my jam, and I can’t wait to teach you how to make them.
After the initial weekend, Pattern Camp participants will have ongoing access to the classroom and all the lessons.
Full details about Pattern Camp can be found here.
The Pattern Camp website has full details about the course, answers to FAQs, and much more — check it out to decide if Pattern Camp is for you!
Curious what the Pattern Campers are creating? Here is just a tiny smattering of what they’re up to:
There’s lots more to see on the Pattern Camp blog. Each week I release a weekly challenge theme which all Pattern Campers are invited to use for design inspiration. Then we round them all up each week and post them on the blog. Take a peek! It’s one of the most fun parts of the after-Pattern Camp experience. (And if you can believe it, many of these folks had little to no experience with Illustrator or Photoshop before the course. It’s true!)
