How will my order be shipped?

We use the good ol' US Postal Service for shipping. We ship everything first-class mail (and occasionally Priority, depending on what it is), and everything is packaged with care. We are not responsible for lost or damaged shipments. Please contact us if something extreme happens, though, and we'll do our best to fix it.

I loved your rain boot Kickstarter project! Can you help me with mine?

Why do you only have two designs available for your rain boots, and when will you have more? 

I believe in starting small and growing from there, and that's the philosophy behind the rain boots-- I hope to grow the line like crazy, but I want these first two to be successful first! I'm a student/aspiring designer-- can you help me start my career as a pattern designer?

Congratulations on wanting to be a pattern designer and/or full-time artist! It's a very rewarding and fun career, I can assure you. :) I'm extremely busy and unfortunately can't respond to each individual email I receive... though I do plan to create an e-book about my experience running a creative business in the next few months, which I hope will answer a lot of the questions that I frequently get asked. But I do want you to know that your creative career is absolutely 100% possible with a lot of hard work, passion, and dedication!

How do you create your artwork? Can you teach me how to create a repeat pattern?

My patterns are all created digitally in Adobe Illustrator. I both draw in my sketch book and scan the drawings int o work with them and I work with a pen/tablet to draw directly info my computer. My paintings are mixed media and come from many layers and painting over ugly parts. :) If you're interested in learning how to create repeat patterns, I can point you in the direction of this e-course-- these ladies are fabulous!

Can I use your patterns for free on my own website/blog/twitter page?

I work with companies who purchase and license my patterns, so giving them away for free would not be fair to them. While I'm happy you like my work, the free use of my patterns or other artwork on your own site is not permitted. But if you'd like to talk about purchasing the rights to use it, please contact me!
